Did Clinton Rig Her $3 Million by March 31 Campaign?

Earlier today I observed that Clinton was well-behind of a online fundraising goal featured on her website. An hour or so after the entry was published, I noticed that her fundraising totals had jumped roughly $300,000 in a single refresh (less than a minute). This struck me as odd because Clinton's fundraising scoreboard has a realtime counter (second-by-second). Accordingly, I thought I'd take screenshots throughout the day and see how it turned out.

Did Clinton rig the campaign?

I looked at the web page source code (right click and select "View Source"). The time counter is some sort of flash script (it runs on its own). The money counter is a fixed JPG file that apparently gets re-created periodically. It might even be a manual process.

You know when I visited the site (Hillary money counter) the time was 00:00:00 when the money stopes ate 2,914,689.
And suddenly they say We DID It
and I was astonished and start to calculate some thing
The number of donnor counter was at 35,256
Immidiatly within 30something minut 1,000 donors gave her 178,135dollar to reach 3,092,824
WOW!
may be possible
Considering the number of people commenting in her HP every day (the max I saw was 101 a day per topic)
I wonder how this is possible

But I am happy for her if she really did that

It must be incridble "achievment"

I wish I could look at the data
Hmmmmmmmmmm

There's no way she pulled this off. $85 per donation?, c'mon, that's pretty steep given the state of the economy and the makeup of her base, e.g. blue collar worker, elderly on fixed incomes. Shady all the way around.

She dodged a bullet too!!!!

Based on the math I did, at the beginning of the screen shots, the average donation per donor was $112.50. the next screen shots provided data that resulted in $89 donations per donor, $151.75 per donor, and finally $177.78 per donor. In the last minutes, there was a 20 minute period of time or so when there were no donations... While I suppose it's possible, I just don't think it's very likely. People who would donate more usually do so at the beginning of a drive. They don't wait until the last minute. But whatever.

You will notice it says "Donors This Drive:"

This is probably just counting the donors for this month/quarter. Previous donors who had not hit their 2300/2300 primary/general cap may not be included in that number.

Additionally the 3 million mark may have been hit earlier in the evening, however it is much more dramatic if it happens closer to the deadline.

If it's important I'm supporting Senator Obama.

Good points all around, particularly concerning the average donation - which also strikes me as peculiar.
